End of Service Policy
MQSoftware announces the following End of Service (EOS) policy for all MQSoftware products.
MQSoftware will discontinue support for a particular version of a product approximately 18-24 months after its release, or after two subsequent minor or major versions have been released, whichever occurs first. After this “end of service” date, no new updates, patches, or “hot fixes” will be made available. Subsequent problems will be addressed in the current version of the product.
Formal maintenance patches will continue to be shipped for approximately six months after the release of the new version of the software, or up until the release date of the subsequent release. After that time, no new formal patch releases for any prior versions will be made available for general release. Problems after that EOS date will be dealt with on a case-by-case “hot fix” basis. Hot fixes will be delivered with minimal regression testing.

Third Party Technology End of Service Addendum
MQSoftware announces the following general EOS policy addendum related to supported third party technology End of Service dates (IBM, BEA, Oracle, etc.).
Third party technology providers periodically announce EOS dates for back levels of their products. While it is expected customers will upgrade to newer versions of these technologies on or before those dates, MQSoftware is committed to supporting older releases to the best of our abilities.
If a customer reports a problem with our products on an out-of-service third party technology we support, the customer must be able to replicate the problem on an in-service version of that technology for MQSoftware to be able to address the issue. Problems not re-creatable on in-service versions of third party technologies will not be addressed.
